I live in Western Maine, but I also travel all over the world to wild places. I am interested in everything natural, from bugs to elephants. But I am a completely amateur naturalist and photographer. My blog comes from wherever I happen to be, and after a long trip I often send out a series of posts after I return to my laptop. I do extensive research, and try to make sure I am accurate and up-to-date, but mistakes do happen. I use a Sony RX10 Mark IV bridge camera.
